Uses	N-Methoxysuccinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Val-7-amido-4-methylcoumarin has been used as a substrate in elastase assay using bone marrow lysates and pancreatic lysates.
General Description	Sensitive fluorogenic substrate for the quantitative determination of human leukocyte (K_m = 140 μM; K_cat/K_m = 120,000 s^-1 M^-1) and porcine pancreatic elastase. Not hydrolyzed by cathepsin G. Excitation max.: ~380 nm; emission max.: ~460 nm.
