| Description | The allergen eudesmanolide sesquiterpene lactone was
isolated from elecampane (Inula helenium L.). With
dehydrocostuslactone and costunolide, it is a component
of the (sesquiterpene) lactone-mix, used to detect
sensitization to Compositae.
