Chemical Properties	Colorless to beige crystals
Uses	1-(2-Chloroethyl)piperidine hydrochloride is used as intermediate for the syntheses of pharmaceuticals (e.g. fenpiverinium bromide, cloperastine and pitofenone).
Uses	Hydrochloride salt of N-(β-Chloroethyl)piperidine is used in the inhibition of sickle-cell hemoglobin.
