General Description	Kinetics and ESR studies of intramolecular electron-transfer reactions of the radical anion of 2,7-dinitronaphthalene in various polar aprotic solvents has been studied. 2,7-Dinitronaphthalene undergoes mononitration to afford 1:3:6:8-tetranitronapthalene.
